  • Pilates Mat Classes

    Our Pilates Mat Classes work from the traditional method of Classical/ Authentic style of teaching. Suitable for all ages and abilities. Join us for a Pilates Matwork Class working through the Classical Exercises to build strength, flexibility and control of the body. Mats provided with a smile.

  • Pilates Reformer Classes

    The Pilates Reformer is resistance based Pilates, achieving deeper connections in the body so you can feel the work almost instantaneously.

    Using the traditional method of teaching Classical/ Authentic method of teaching, we work with clients who want to increase their fitness, strength and flexibility to achieve control of the body. Our Pilates Reformer Classes are suitable for Beginners and we currently run 3 levels of classes at various times through the week.

Private Pilates Classes

Our Private classes are designed for anyone who would like some attention to detail, have a great work out and be pushed individually, or those who would be more suited to Private classes due to movement restrictions or need rehabilitation due to injury or surgery. These sessions are the best for a beginner and we can also work into Advanced movements of the Pilates Method for those who are more experienced.

Our rehabilitation work will be designed around your body and its important that we understand exactly what your injuries are, any past health history and how you feel before and after class so we can adjust the work we are giving you accordingly.

We will provide a programme which could include any piece of equipment in our Specialist Pilates Studio. The equipment we have at hand could be on the Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chairs and barrels or the Pediople. We may also include hand weights, band or use balls where you will benefit from extra kinaesthetic feedback.

Our Additional Classes

Mindful Movement (Feldenkrais) with Hannah Wheeler

Mindful Movement has been renamed from Feldenkrais as the method and concept of the classes are much more easily explained as Mindful Movement. During these sessions you will work through parts of the body, adjusting your senses and movement capacity using small movements to release and open the muscles and skeletal system and reconnect the neuro pathways. Providing the body with improved physical connections, promoted relaxation and ease of movement. Ideal for clients with injuries, restricted movement and those who want to be more conscious of their movement.

Yoga Classes with Jade

Jade is a local instructor who is passionate about health, wellbeing and finding balance. She believes that what you do on the mat can help you not just the physical aspect, but by connecting body and mind using this practice to become more focused, reduce stress levels and create a positive mindset.

Yoga flow with Jade is a fusion of yoga and fitness for mind, body and soul.

Expect a grounding, challenging, yet also relaxing experience as we explore different postures, breathwork and cultivating that can-do positive mindset! One of life's challenges is about finding balance, and this yoga class brings together many yoga styles combined into an hour class.. which always finishes with an opportunity to find stillness.

DanceFit

Added to mix of classes is our Dancefit Class, designed for fun and fitness. Suitable for all fitness abilities working on co-ordination, fitness and a smile on your face. No judgement and no previous experience required.

Meditation

Our Meditation classes are a step into mindfulness where you will learn how to step out of your daily routine and focus on your own wellbeing and mindset. This is done in a small group and you will be guided through the meditation by Nikki our resident mental health therapist who also works with clients using techniques such as CBT and EMDR to help clients heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, helping clients develop healthier ways of thinking and coping.
